Snowed In
This week we were snowed in for three days (Tyler did enjoy helping Dan shovel two of those days!) We spent a lot of time playing with cars and admiring our tree...and I took a lot of pictures of Tyler! We took a very quick trip to the park and were the only ones there because it was freezing. Tyler did get to have a playdate with his friends Colin, Ella, Emma, & Baby Charlotte, and he had a lot of fun. We also took a trip to Barnes & Noble & he loved playing with the train table. While snowed in, I worked on painting a special Christmas present for Tyler that my friend Liz gave to him. Tyler picked the color at Home Depot. I can't wait for Tyler to see his gift on Christmas morning!! :-)
I was walking outside & holding Tyler when he looked up and said, "Grandpa is in the sky." He knows that he has a grandpa and a great grandma who are angels in heaven who watch over him.
One night this week, Tyler had a small piece of chocolate and then he wanted more. Dan gave him a little piece of his chocolate and Tyler said, "He's a nice Dada." Then he gave Dan a hug. He is such a sweet boy. He has been singing "Twinkle Twinkle Little Star" and "Jingle Bells" (while running in a circle again and again) :-)

Little Singer :-)
For some reason, having the Christmas tree up has encouraged Tyler to sing with his microphone again and again. We love hearing his little voice! :-)
Boxing With Daddy
This week we all enjoyed having a four day weekend! I got a manicure and pedicure and enjoyed some shopping while Tyler and Dan went to Dan's mom's house for lunch. I also took pictures of my friend Christa's eleven day old baby, Lily. :-)
Tyler has been wanting to "box" with Dan lately. If we leave the house and I don't bring my purse he'll say, "Oh no, purse," which is adorable. He is so used to me bringing my school bag with me every day. When we were leaving to run an errand one evening he said, "Oh no, school bag," since I wasn't bringing it with me. He is so good about looking out for mommy & is such a sweet boy.
Seeing Santa
Tyler has gone to see the same Santa since he was a baby. I'm amazed at how much he has grown since his first visit. We waited in line for 50 minutes and Tyler did a great job. He told Santa he wants a "Mr. Damian van" for Christmas. :-)
