Tyler & His Friends

Five of Tyler's friends are now big brothers or big sisters & three will be welcoming new siblings soon.  Tyler is hoping to be a big brother one day too (maybe in 2015)  :-)

Summer Fun

This week Tyler got to spend time with all of his grandparents.  He also got to see his Uncle Shane, Aunt Kristen, & his cousins Ben & Julia, while Dan & I were at our friends housewarming party.  We took him to a very fun place where he got to go on rides, shop with his own cart, & play basketball.  He wore the airplane shirt his friends Brooklyn & Baby Jason gave him for his birthday to see the movie, Planes.  While there, we ran into his friends Noah & Baby Alex!  Unfortunately, Tyler did not want to watch the whole movie (or even half...) and kept saying, "Go home!"  So we did, after he had a chance to play on the big motorcycle in the lobby.  :-)  We took a trip to the mall so that Tyler & many of his friends could get their pictures taken together.  He didn't love the picture taking part, but seemed to enjoy riding the escalator, the train, & the "horsey".  The next few days, he kept repeating all that he had done at the mall & kept saying, "Mama dizzy on horsey" (which was true).  :-) 

Tyler has been cracking us up lately with the things he's been saying.  He's now told my mom and myself to "go cook" in the kitchen.  One night he complained about the bright light from a Baby Einstein video & yelled, "getting sunburned".  Another day I said, "Maybe we'll go to the store today," to which he replied, "Maybe go England see double decker bus."  :-)

I got to take newborn pictures this week of an adorable two week old baby girl named Juliet.  Tyler loved meeting her!

The Zoo

This week we went to a zoo with Dan's mom.  Tyler loved seeing the farm animals and the snakes (scary!)  We were able to go on a tractor and see animals up close.  Tyler was not a fan of that adventure!  He started to cry and he kept saying, "Animals go night night!"  I think he wanted them to be as far away as possible.  We have talked about the zoo nonstop since our visit.  He loves to say that he saw a "big deer".  :-)

I got to visit my friend Vanessa this week and spend a day shopping, talking, and eating out at my favorite places in her town.  It was a wonderful trip & Tyler enjoyed spending time with Dan & my parents.  I also got to have lunch with my favorite professional photograher, who Dan has always called, "my idol".  :-)

This week we had beautiful weather so we took trips to the park & the pier.  Tyler got to meet up with his friends Dylan & Reed at Chickfila & he had a playdate with Joey & Baby Joshua.  We also had a visit from my friend, Barbara.  We got to meet Baby Alex & I loved taking pictures of him!  Tyler was very happy to get to play with Alex's big brother, Noah.  I also took pictures of Tyler's friends, Sophia & Emily, this week.  :-)

 

Tyler's new favorite toy is a double decker bus, which he knows is from England.  When we say, "Who was born in England, Tyler?" he will say, "Dada."  :-)
