Memorial Day Weekend 2013

Tyler & I loved being able to spend three days in a row with Dan.  We weren't expecting the very cold temperature the day before the pools were supposed to open!  We took a long walk & we all wore sweatshirts.  :-)  Luckily the rest of the weekend was a bit warmer.  Dan helped our friends Marco & Magda move into their new house, while Tyler & I went to my brother & sister-in-law's house to have dinner & to play outside.  Tyler loved playing with his cousins, Ben & Julia.  I also got to have dinner with my friends, Julie & Katie!  We did go to the pool even though the water was very cold.  Tyler was a little unsure at first but ended up having a lot of fun. 

Tyler went to Brooklyn & Baby Jason's house twice this week & got to see many of his friends.  We also invited his friends to our house two mornings in a row!  He got to play with my friend Leigh's children, Avery & Rylan, as well.  :-)

I can't believe how much Tyler has grown since his first summer at the pool & even since last year!

Expressions

I love the different expressions Tyler makes every day. :-)  While I love seeing him smile, I also love his serious face when he has a question or even the face he makes when he is pouting. 

This week he got to see all of his grandparents, which he loved!  We also went to the park two days in a row & he went to playdates at Avery's house, Brooklyn & Baby Jason's house, & Joey's house.  He had a great time at Noah's 2nd Birthday Party, which had a Mickey Mouse theme.  :-)

My 33rd Birthday

I had a great birthday this year!  Tyler & I visited my parents & we got to spend much more time with Dan than we typically do on a Wednesday.  We went on a long walk together in the evening & got frozen yogurt afterwards.  :-)

I am amazed by how much Tyler has grown since my 31st birthday & my 32nd birthday...

Park Trips

This week Tyler had a playdate with Brooklyn & Baby Jason, a playdate at his friend Joey's house (where he got to see seven of his buddies), & two trips to his favorite park (where he got to play with Brooklyn, Baby Jason, Reed, Dylan, & Joey).  Unfortunately, it started raining at the end of one of our park trips & Tyler was not a happy boy.  I got to enjoy a lunch out with my friend Shanna for my birthday.  :-)  I also got to take pictures of my friend Chrissy & her son, Brayden! 

Mother's Day 2013

This was a wonderful Mother's Day!  I was very excited about the gift for my mom this year.  My sister-in-law, Kristen, dressed Ben & Julia perfectly & they were very easy to photograph.  Tyler was a bit more of a challenge but did a great job too.  :-)  My mom loved her gift!  Dan took his mom out for a nice lunch while Tyler & I delivered the gift & spent some time outside with my parents.  It was a beautiful day!  Dan surprised me with gorgeous red roses & Tyler gave me the sweetest card.  :-)

 

Busy Busy May

This week we went to a playdate at Noah's house, two playdates at Baby Jason & Brooklyn's house, and a playdate at Reed & Dylan's house.  We also went to Mom & Son Date Knight at Chickfila.  :-)  I was lucky enough to take pictures of my friend Carrie's one week old baby boy, Joshua, as well as some family shots too!  We celebrated my birthday with my parents, my Aunt Barbara, & my older brother's family.  Tyler always loves seeing his cousins, aunts, uncles, & grandparents!  He got to see Dan's mom this week too & went on a nice walk.  :-)  He saw the ice cream man and was very sad that no one had cash to buy him anything! 

Tyler has started to say, "that way!" & "again" & he's been doing a great job with the alphabet.  He loves to play in Dan's car & he loves to throw things down the stairs.  :-)
