Tractor Sighting :-)

 

Dan, Tyler, & I had a great walk in our neighborhood & were lucky enough to see a tractor.  :-)  The lighting was perfect for taking pictures!

Tyler's 2nd Birthday Party #2

I thought this would be a great week to have a birthday party for Tyler at the park.  However, the weather did not cooperate!  Thankfully, my friend Christa offered to have the party at her house at the last minute, which was incredibly thoughtful and generous of her.  There were 26 of us after all, including 16 kids!  Tyler had so much fun playing with all of his friends, eating cupcakes, & opening gifts.  :-)

Snow on March 25th?

I remember having a huge snowfall on March 13, 1993, but I don't ever remember having snow as late as March 25th!  We were supposed to have Tyler's park birthday party on the 26th but had to postpone.  He can't wait!  We talked about how March 26th is his Papa Wilson's birthday.  He loves to see the picture of Dan's mom & dad from their wedding day (which we keep in our bedroom) & he always says, "Papa Wilson".  We were all missing Dan's dad yesterday but know that he is looking down on us.

In addition to Tyler's birthday fun this week, he got to have a playdate with Brooklyn & Baby Jason, & a playdate with Zachary, Joey, & Noah.  He also had his two year checkup.  He is doing great & is already 36 inches, which means he is going to be tall like his daddy!

He's had so much fun playing with his new toys this week, especially his guitar!  We've had lots of visits from my parents this week, which he has loved.  He likes to watch from the window when they arrive but when he hears the door being unlocked, he runs to the top of the stairs with the biggest smile on his face.  :-) 

Tyler's 2nd Birthday Party #1

Tyler had such a wonderful time at his party!  He loved all of the trucks, tractors, books, & outfits he opened.  He especially loves his ice cream truck & his water & sand table from his grandparents.  He loved all of the tractor wrapping paper, too!  He loved spending time with his friends & family & enjoyed eating the cupcakes my mom made him, as well as the muffins (which he also called, "cake") that Dan's mom made. :-)  He is so, so lucky to have such loving & caring friends & family.

Tyler is 2!! :-)

We cannot believe Tyler is two years old!!  We think he had a very happy birthday.  :-)  He started by opening birthday cards then we went to Moes for lunch & to the park to play.  Tyler (thankfully) took a nap before his friends & family arrived for his party!  :-)  We love our two year old boy!!
