Halloween :-)

Halloween was very fun this year!  Tyler got to dress up four times - for our neighborhood parade, for Dan's work event, for a Halloween party with our friends, & on Halloween night!  He wore his Superman costume twice & his farmer costume twice.  While trick or treating he seemed less concerned with getting candy & more concerned with trying to walk into each home as if he lived there.  If he spotted a ceiling fan, he demanded that it be turned on at once!  He is so funny :-) 

Tyler is 19 Months Old!

This week Tyler attended a playdate at Noah's house, as well as Avery's 2nd birthday party.  He also hosted a pajama party for his friends at our house.  :-)  We enjoyed talking a walk to the prettiest part of our neighborhood.  I also got to do my first family photo shoot in the same spot!  I had coffee with my friends Barbara & Leigh & attended a mom's night out dinner.  :-)

Tyler has been such a little helper lately!  He loves to help vacuum & help unload the dishwasher.  He will grab the plates, bowls, & cups and hand them to me one at a time.  He loves to watch the Redskins & Ravens (although neither team won this week) & lately he has been feeding & reading to his "Gog".  :-) 

Pumpkin Patch

We have been enjoying fall activities this week.  :-)  In addition to going to the farm, we went to a pumpkin patch & we took a walk in the neighborhood after a trip to Starbucks for a pumpkin spice latte - yum!  :-)  Tyler went to a playdate at Reed's house & got to see many of his baby friends.  He also had a playdate with Brooklyn & Baby Jason, & we had a visit from our friend, Liz, who was responsible for giving Tyler his favorite "gog" stuffed animal when I was pregnant.  I enjoyed having brunch with my friend Julie, to celebrate her birthday.  :-)

Fun at the Farm

Tyler and I visited a farm with a friend of mine from high school & her son.  We had a great time!  Tyler loved seeing the tractor, playing on the playground, riding on the hayride, & picking a pumpkin to bring home.  :-)

Fall Weather

We have had a few cooler days this week and I love it!  I want to be able to wear jeans & a sweatshirt every day.  :-)  In addition to going to the picnic this week, Tyler got to spend time with all of his grandparents, & he went to a pumpkin patch.  He also had playdates with his friend Colin & with Brooklyn & Baby Jason.  Tyler stayed overnight with my parents and Dan and I went out to lunch and out to dinner!  Tyler hasn't been a fan of eating in restaurants since our vacation but he and I did have one successful lunch out this week.  When we walked outside a fire truck had just pulled up.  The firemen let Tyler sit in the drivers seat & they gave him a hat to keep.  :-)

Tyler has been saying, "all done", which is adorable, and he loves to point out everything he sees on our walks - airplanes ("apa"), car ("ca"), bus, & "tractors" (trucks).  :-)

Redskins Picnic :-)

We had lots of fun at the Redskins picnic!  There was so much to see & do :-)

Family & Friends Fun

This week Tyler got to celebrate his Grandma Wilson's birthday & his Uncle Shane's birthday.  He enjoyed seeing his family members & playing with his cousin, Ben.  He also had playdates with Brayden and with Brooklyn & Baby Jason.  He attended a playdate at Noah's house with lots of his neighborhood baby friends.  My friend Julie came over for dinner one night too. 

This week Tyler has been trying to say, "go", "trash truck", & "water".  He likes to go down the stairs all by himself (with supervision of course).  :-)  I ordered two costumes for him for Halloween - a dalmation & a garden gnome.  Unfortunately, when we tried them on I realized that he didn't care for either one.  Those two have been returned and costume #3 is on its way.  :-)
